Todd A. Fuller, Esquire

Todd A. Fuller is an attorney with the law firm of Brenlove & Fuller, LLC, where he practices in the areas of estate and business succession planning, estate and trust administration, taxation and real estate.

Mr. Fuller’s goal is to assist each individual client to preserve wealth during lifetime and to transfer that wealth to the next generation (whether during lifetime or at death), in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.  Mr. Fuller also assists small business owners to recognize and address the added complexities of ensuring the continuation of their business while providing for all of the intended beneficiaries in a fair and realistic way.

Experience is integral to effective wealth preservation and succession planning.  Prior to forming Brenlove & Fuller with Nicholas P. Brenlove, Mr. Fuller practiced in the Corporate, Tax, Estate Planning and Estate Administration Departments of two of the largest firms in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg.  Mr. Fuller has extensive experience throughout the Commonwealth working with individual families and small business owners in accomplishing their wealth preservation and succession planning goals.  Originally from Iowa and a member of the first generation in his family not to farm, Mr. Fuller has a particular affinity toward Pennsylvania’s farm and agri-business community.  Providing estate, succession and business planning to farm families for over 25 years, coupled with his personal background, has given Mr. Fuller a unique perspective into their goals and needs.  This experience and perspective has been called into service more recently with the development of natural gas throughout Central and Western Pennsylvania and has been integral to helping landowners understand and negotiate the terms of their leases.  It has also proven useful and particularly effective in advising landowners as to their succession and estate planning options and the development of cost-effective, efficient succession, estate and business planning arrangements.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Fuller earned his B.A. (1992) and J.D. (1995) degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.  He has spoken on issues relating to estate and business succession planning before professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the National Business Institute.  He is author of an article entitled “Attorney Liability to Estate Beneficiaries” which has been published in the Dickinson Law Review.  Mr. Fuller is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association (member, Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section) and a past member of the Allegheny Tax Society.  Mr. Fuller is an active member of his church and has served in various leadership positions.  Committed to the success of all youth, Mr. Fuller has served and continues to serve in various volunteer positions for the Boy Scouts of America at the unit, district and council levels.
