Robin L. Rarie, Esquire

Robin L. Rarie is an attorney with the law firm of Brenlove & Fuller, LLC, practicing in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and elder law.  Ms. Rarie strives to provide clients with successful estate and succession planning whereby assets are efficiently transferred to minimize the expenses of administration so as to maximize the available resources to pass to the intended beneficiaries.  In the area of estate administration, Ms. Rarie strives to provide clients with the smoothest transition in an otherwise difficult time upon the death of a loved one.  Ms. Rarie also assists elderly individuals with planning for their long-term care needs, including Medical Assistance and Veterans benefits.  Ms. Rarie is also experienced in the areas of individual and business taxation, including tax preparation and planning for individuals, and the representation of individuals and businesses involved in tax controversies with federal and state governmental authorities.

Prior to joining Brenlove & Fuller, LLC, Ms. Rarie practiced with a mid-sized firm in the Pittsburgh area in the Estate Planning and Estate Administration Department.  Having been born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Ms. Rarie has extensive experience throughout the area working with individual families and small business owners in accomplishing their wealth preservation and succession planning goals.  Prior to attending law school, Ms. Rarie worked as an equity research analyst for an institutional money management firm working on a team that actively managed large corporate pension funds, university endowments, and family and charitable trusts.  Providing estate and long-term care planning and estate administration services to families over most of her legal career, coupled with her personal background and prior experience, has given Ms. Rarie a unique perspective into her clients’ goals and needs.

Ms. Rarie is a 1995 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (J.D.) and a 1989 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University (B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, Schreyer Honors College – With Highest Distinction).

Ms. Rarie is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Allegheny County Bar Association. Ms. Rarie co-authored 8 Greatest Estate Planning Techniques In Pennsylvania, Lorman Education Services, October 2003 and November 2005, and Estate, Financial and Health Care Planning for Elder Clients in Pennsylvania, National Business Institute, December 2004, July 2006, and April 2008. Ms. Rarie was also a selected instructor for Pennsylvania Probate: Beyond The Basics, National Business Institute, February 2005.  In addition, Ms. Rarie has spoken to various groups and civic organizations regarding estate planning and estate administration. Ms. Rarie is also a past President and member of the Advisory Board to the New Kensington Campus of Penn State University.
